Today McCrae and I made a visit to Instacare.

Saturday night we were weeding the flower bed in the front of our house and he was helping with his flip-flops and a shovel. NOT a good combination. He chopped with his shovel right into his big toe at the joint. The cut was 3/4 inch wide and plenty deep. Bryan rinsed it out in the bathtub and then with peroxide. We probably should have taken him to the ER but because it was his toe and the thought of paying a huge bill, we decided to put him to bed and wait and go to instacare today. They flushed the cut and put him on antibiotics for infection. He has been running a fever and been sooo tired.
Poor little guy! His primary teacher called to make sure he hadn't cut his toe off. Bryan talked to a family in our ward on his way into church and told them McCrae had tried to cut off his toe. Word spreads fast.
