Labor Day camping trip

It's a family tradition for the Grovers to go camping for Labor Day. This year was no different as far as good food, good fun, and good company is concerned. McCrae was so excited to get a new lightening mcqueen sleeping bag to take to "camp". All the kids had so much fun playing together. I endured the experience (I don't thoroughly enjoy camping). I tried to be good sport. Brandon was so generous and offered us his trailer and even his memory foam bed to sleep on. I am greatful for his kindness. Me and my back and my baby who does not keep his covers on, did not have to sleep in a tent!

They didn't care that the four wheelers were not moving. They played prented for hours on them.

Brotherly love.

The BEST babysitter ever! She took care of Kellon and played with him the whole weekend. He had so much fun being outside and crawling around in the dirt.

Papa taking all the kids for a ride. We made sure he didn't go too fast!

McCrae can't be around these cousins for long before he has some sort of accident. He tried running after the four wheelers and fell and hit his head on a rock. We should have taken him in to get stitches but Bryan took care of him instead.

Something worth posting

Although this event happened before my back therapy it is something worth blogging about. My parents came up to visit, I think it was just for a weekend if I remember right. Mom needed to go to Kitchen Kneads to pick up a shaker ball cup for use in making nutritional drinks. I wanted to get some tongs so off we went. Bryan must have been gone somewhere so that left Papa home to watch the boys. Kellon was a sleep and I was sure he would nap another 30 minutes, at least until we returned. Well we got back home and Kellon was awake. All Papa could say was "that boy can take a serious dump -whew". I don't think dad ever changed diapers while we were growing up. He changed Kellon's diaper!! A POOPY DIAPER! Thanks for the memory Dad!

August fun with cousins

During my back treatment Gram-E (my mom) was here to help with the kids and things. While she was here for three weeks we had some visitors. McCrae and Kellon loved having their cousins come and stay at the Wilkins hotel for a visit.

McCrae insisted he was not tired and did not need a nap. I told him he could have quite time in the living room while everyone else was napping. This is what I found when I came downstairs a while later.
