Happy Valentine's Day

Our Valentine's Day this year started with shopping for balloons and snacks. We tried to visit Bryan at work but he was at lunch with work buddies. He called us to thank us for the Valentine surprise we delivered to him. The boys loved their valentine puppies. The only kind of pets Mom will let them have.


We did a family date for the evening. It turned out to be fun. This year it was easier to all go out rather than having a babysitter come and watch the boys.

We ended the day with a little F.H.E.

Getting ready for baby

With boy #3 coming soon there are not too many things we have to purchase to be ready for baby's arrival. Just a few "essentials".


I am switching to glass bottles this time around. Hopefully the switch will be a little more healthy for baby. I am nesting like crazy although the spurts of energy are few and far between. There is still things that have to be done before he comes like: get the nursery ready, wash all the clothes that have been in storage, pack for the hospital, install the carseat.


If a almost 3 year old can fit snuggly in the baby bjorn a newborn will fit like a charm. Hopefully this will be easier on my back than carrying the carseat when we go out to run errands.

Awesome

I was at Hobby Lobby one day and saw this picture. I noticed that instead of buying it they were offering classes to make it so I signed up. One night while Bryan was out of town I called a babysitter and went to the class. It took three hours to paint the frame, glue and texture the print and assemble everything together. I am SO glad I went to the class. I admire the picture every time I walk down to the basement! LOVE IT!!!!
